Greetings!

Like any art form, a photograph can be beautiful, inspiring, whimsical, challenging, and, perhaps somewhat paradoxically, full of life. Photographs can capture emotions, ideas, treasured relationships, or nostalgic locations, and provide for the viewer the opportunity to stop and think, feel, reminisce, or just plain enjoy the pictured moment.

One of the greatest things about photographs is the stories they tell. I love to sit down with my children as they look through our photobooks and share stories with them about what we were doing when a particular picture was taken. Seeing their joy at remembering their own experiences, or learning about something that happened before they were born makes me glad I took the time to have a picture taken.

I get the same joy when I sit down to show a bride her portraits, and she realizes how lovely she really is. Or when a family member sees their little ones in a photograph and gushes about how proud they are of their beautiful children.

It is my goal to bring that kind of joy to people through photography by helping them tell their story, or remember their special days. And on top of that, I want to make them look good!
